The main thing is to give a point of emphasis at the base of the stylus to provide stability. Where the common function is located from the fulcrum on the pivot with the counter weight setting. Hi Haris,i used on there are the 300B Single Ended Triode monoblock tube Amp. The cost of this tube power is 3-4 times from these speakers, but all cheaper than branded ones. You can do it yourself by choosing parts that are of good quality to be assembled into this. I do this because of a hobby, and everything I create with all my heart to achieve what I want. I am appreciate for your comment. Ed

I m from Singapore not to far away from you. How do I get started to build a tube amp from a scratch? What are the requirements first n foremost ? What be be the best economical tubes to get n the transformer. I like big powerful tubes especially in class A operation.All I know class A sounds very nice n sweet. I m too love rock n heavy metal .Infact I only listen to Rock n heavy metal like deep purple ,led zeppelin, black sabbath, rainbow, Dio n many others . thanks Harish How do I start?I m totally lost . @@robertozanetti7707 I have not tried EL11 for my 300B. Using Interstage transformer provides a wide range of frequencies and no coloration of the capasitor. I have do on my 300B SET and RS241 SE and on my AD1 powerI don't have a suitable IT yet. Sakuma's scematic always uses Interstage transformers in the power circuit Ed

I had seen in your shot from below of this amplifier............ the EL11 which I presume is connected to a triode has an anode resistor of I presume at least 7 kohm and only drives the AD1 with a capacitor, but the whole thing works even without an input trafo at least 1: 2 ........?

@@robertozanetti7707 my AD-1 is set at load 2K5 (Ia 60ma) with autobias, vg -45vdc. Using a 4Vac filament with a 50R/20watt trimpot is enough to provide a CT that is clean from Hum, the sound is better than using a Vdc filament. The driver option for the AD-1 with an EL11 pentode tube is not common but in my opinion it is an excellent tube compared to other pentode tubes such as the ef86 or d3a. The old Valvo EL11 tube (similar to EL3N) as input provides convenience with low Vg when compared to other DHT tubes, EL11 with quite a large gain on the pentode connection and I use Rg2 100R for the connection as a triode to get better distortion and provide enough input to AD-1. Using IT 1:2 as you suggest is good, the AD-1 swing grid is quite large.

@@Hahahh18 fuse disini sebagai pengaman kalau ada short bukan batasi pemakain arus, disesuaikan dengan benan semua total pada sekunder yang terpakai saja. Bukan berapa VA ( watt) diprimer ( 1A). Sebenarnya Fuse ini Bottle neck , bersifat menghambat hantaran listrik yang harusnya tidak ada. Pilih material yang baik agar terjamin lancarnya aliran litrik. Pada voltase yang tinggi terjadi lonjakan pada saat awal kontak ini yang sering membuat fuse putus kalau terlalu kecil Ampernya dan hal ini bisa di akali pakai Capasitor jenis NTC. Ada teman yang tidak suka pakai fuse, direct saja dan lebih mantabs suaranya, tapi tidak saya sarankan.

@@Hahahh18 saya tidak pernah pakai fuse smp ratusan rb. Saya buat sendiri dari bahan kabel silver murni dari audionote dengan ukuran yang seseuaikan jadi fuse fast blow. Karena sifat silver lebih rendah titik leburnya di banding tembaga

@@robertozanetti7707 the OB speakers are very different from cabinets speakers, each has advantages. The OB speakers depend on the room with the advantage of being felt live (requires QTS and high sensitivity), while the cabinet speakers produces low and solid bass that cannot be obtained on an OB and can be adjusted depending on our wishes. And all final results depend on the quality of the drivers we use.

@@russellparker4568 I provided the weight with balanced settings, so just place it. and here I poured it with a liquid that can function as a damper and adjust the small weight. It was worked.

@@davidzicho8174 combining the TA900A with the W300Aii is possible and I prefer it with the Beyma TPL-150H.

@@davidzicho8174 This is a ported enclosure speaker, I made this with the help of references from several DIY audio websites, and did experiments. TL speaker is good with its Bass control. and I chose Bass reflex by referring to the design from Fostex, here I get good performance because it is supported by a very good driver, Fostex W300Aii. Flax, cotton and wood are inert materials, they do not electrify even in contact with such electrically active materials as polyethylene or nylon. In addition, cotton in cables is used for damping.

The electricity source from the power plant is channeled through a transmission network that is open to the public, providing a lot of interference from the environment, dynamo motors, radio frequencies and many more which causes it to be unclean. and because of this the AC current will carry it. therefore there are lots of tools to help with cleaning. Ordinary a power cords include a ground cable to eliminate that. However, the structure of the cable will determine the flow of current entering the audio system that is vulnerable to it. In my experience, a good power cord is a wire diameter that suits your needs, a good outer layer and a cotton layer that provides space between the three cables inside. as an effective damper and absorber. some use braided wire shielding - but this is no better than thick cotton. On this powercord there is shileding made of mylar.
